San Giorgio Maggiore
Conventual island whose imprint was given by the most illustrious architect of the Venetian Renaissance, Andrea Palladio, to whom we owe the church and the wonderful refectory.
Originally the island consisted of vegetable gardens, mills and salt pans. Thanks to its position, in front of San Marco, from the bell tower of the church you can enjoy the most complete panorama of Venice.
